Terms of Service

1. Scope of Service

InspectMyCar provides a visual and electronic diagnostic inspection of the vehicle. Our service is advisory in nature and does not constitute a mechanical warranty or guarantee.

2. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is available in proper condition for inspection, including adequate access, cleanliness, and sufficient lighting. Any limitations in access or visibility may affect the accuracy of the inspection.

3. Surface Conditions & Minor Imperfections

Minor scratches, swirl marks, dust particles, or superficial imperfections may not always be visible during inspection due to environmental factors such as dust, dirt, or dealership preparation. These are considered normal and may not be individually reported unless significant.

4. Lighting & Environmental Limitations

Inspection results may be affected by lighting conditions including sunlight, reflections, shadows, or artificial lighting. Certain defects may only be visible under specific lighting conditions and may not be detected during the inspection.

5. Human Limitations

While we strive for accuracy and thoroughness, inspections are conducted by humans and are subject to human limitations. There is a possibility of unintentional oversight or missed observations.

6. Liability

We are not responsible for latent defects that are not detectable through standard inspection procedures or for issues arising after the vehicle has been delivered, registered, or driven.

7. Post-Inspection Changes

The inspection reflects the condition of the vehicle strictly at the time of inspection. InspectMyCar is not responsible for any changes, damages, replacements, or issues that occur after the inspection is completed, including during storage, handling, cleaning, transit, or delivery by the dealership or any third party.

8. Reporting Discrepancies

Any discrepancies or concerns must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the inspection report. Claims raised after this period may not be considered, as vehicle condition may change over time.

9. Evidence & Verification

Inspection findings are based on visual observations, photographs, and data recorded at the time of inspection. Any claims must be supported with clear evidence. InspectMyCar reserves the right to validate claims against its recorded inspection data.

10. Dealership Handling

InspectMyCar is not responsible for any damage, wear, or defects caused after inspection due to dealership handling, cleaning, polishing, movement, test drives, or delivery processes.

11. Non-Visible Defects

Certain defects may not be detectable without dismantling parts, specialized tools, or invasive procedures. Such hidden or internal issues are not within the scope of this inspection.

12. Customer Acknowledgement

By proceeding with the service, the customer acknowledges that the inspection is a best-effort evaluation and agrees to the limitations outlined in this document.
